E vi basti questo perché al loro/suo riguardo altro non ci è dato sapere (se non che arrivano da un meglio non precisato luogo degli Stati Uniti)….3 soli brani, non un album nè un EP ma semplicemente una demo autoprodotta di straniante bellezza. Titoli delle tracce?? I, II e III, un divenire che non sappiamo se e come ci sarà ma per il momento godetevi questo black metal dalle bellissime progressioni armoniche, cupo, di una desolante malinconia senza fondo….Ci si perde, se ne resta affascinati e quale che sia un nuovo mondo che ci aspetta non potrà essere peggio di questo (no, forse si). I, la sensazione è quella di stare ascoltando qualcosa di….forse unico, non è un sentire “normale”, è black metal ma non quello (oramai posticcio) che uno si aspetterebbe di ascoltare….sezione ritmica scarna, potente e senza inutili tecnicismi (cazzo se ci piace questa semplicità, questa essenzialità) ma saranno le bellissime armonizzazioni della chitarra (quasi jazzate? Quasi prog?) a trascinarvi in luoghi dove mai osereste addentrarvi….II, più dura, più amara, il bel growl di M (artista molto riservato e che noi rispettiamo) a lacerare quel che resta di un nulla…metrica che rallenta in una marcetta quasi funerea per poi esplodere con ancor più “violenza” in un saliscendi armonico spiazzante….III, ultimo brano, ultima possibilità fra un tornare indietro od un definitivo perdersi, a voi una scelta…suono “greve”, siamo sulla soglia di una disperazione quanto mai reale, vivida e poi quel finale in un crescendo di immensa e dolorosa bellezza che non vi lascerà scampo….prendere o lasciare….entrare fin dentro le interiora di questo nuovo mondo o fare finta di nulla e passare ad altro…ad un quieto e morto vivere. Da Roots! è tutto e come sempre buon ascolto (qui).

And this is enough for you because we don’t know anything else about them / her (except that they come from a better unspecified place in the United States) ….3 songs only, not an album or an EP but simply a self-produced demo of tearing beauty. Track titles ?? I, II and III, a becoming that we do not know if and how it will happen but for the moment enjoy this black metal with beautiful harmonic progressions, gloomy, of a desolate bottomless melancholy …. You get lost, you are fascinated and whatever a new world awaits us it can’t be worse than this (no, maybe yes). I, the feeling is that of listening to something …. perhaps unique, it is not a “normal” feeling, it is black metal but not what one would expect to hear …. a sparse rhythm section , powerful and without useless technicalities (fuck if we like this simplicity, this essentiality) but it will be the beautiful harmonizations of the guitar (almost jazzed? Almost prog?) to drag you to places where you would never dare to enter …. II, harder, harder bitter, the beautiful growl of M (very reserved artist and whom we respect) to tear what remains of a nothing …metric that slows down in an almost funeral march and then explodes with even more “violence” in a surprising harmonic ups and downs….III, last song, last possibility between going back or finally getting lost, a choice is yours … heavy” sound, we are on the threshold of a very real, lively desperation and then that ending in a crescendo of immense and painful beauty that will leave you no way out ….take it or leave it ….go right into the interior to this new world or to ignore it and move on to something else …to a quiet and dead life. From Roots! it’s all and as always good listening (here).
