Poche righe di pancia e budella….un resto a voi.
Chiamatelo come vi pare, black metal, atmospheric black metal, melodic black metal, depressive black metal o altro….volendo anche altro ma questo Spiritul Instinct è un grande album, è come pioggia battente sulle miserie di questo cazzo di mondo, è come luce eterna, è quel buio con il quale ci scontriamo tutti i giorni, è oblio, espiazione, rinascita (Les Jardins De Minuit, Protection, Sapphire) atmosfere “melodic” squarciate da echi black metal-doom in un divenire che ha il sapore di un non ritorno (L’Ile Des Morts da brivido, il dark-folk di Le Miroir) fino alla conclusiva title track a declinare le amare ed ineluttabili sorti di questo mondo….Sesto ed ultimo (fino ad oggi) lavoro in studio per l’oramai consolidato duo francese composto da Neige (voce, chitarre, basso, tastiere) e Winterhalter (batteria, percussioni)….non vi staremo a fare la cronistoria degli Alcest perché ogni loro album è storia a sé (ma prestategli un ascolto perché lo merita) partite pure da qui, premete il tasto play e guardate fuori dalla finestra, giù in strada….ecco ora avete capito. A few lines of belly and guts….the rest is up to you. Call it what you like, black metal, atmospheric black metal, melodic black metal, depressive black metal or whatever….even if you want something else but this Spiritul Instinct is a great album, it’s like pouring rain on the miseries of this fucking world, it’s like eternal light, it is that darkness with which we clash every day, it is oblivion, expiation, rebirth (Les Jardins De Minuit, Protection, Sapphire) melodic atmospheres torn by black metal-doom echoes in a becoming that has the flavor of a non return (L’Ile Des Morts, thrilling, the dark-folk of Le Miroir) up to the final title track to decline the bitter and inescapable fates of this world….Sixth and last (to date) studio work for the now consolidated French duo composed of Neige (vocals, guitars, bass, keyboards) and Winterhalter (drums, percussion)….we won’t give you a chronology of Alcest because each of their albums is a story in itself (but give them a I listen because it deserves it) start from here, press the play button and look out the window, down into the street….now you get it.
